Kiddyland
 

On October 14 & 15th of 2006 The Midwest Garrison made its return to Kiddieland Amusement park in Melrose Park IL. A park for younger kids that has been around since 1929 ! If you live in the area and have younger children you really should make a trip there. Other than Great America, it is the last amusement park in the area. Since Santa's Village is now gone.
The Midwest Garrison last appeared there in 2001, the first event that I had put together after I joined the 501st.

The weather was a bit chilly but we had a good time. As well as the many visitors to the park. The owners were really excited to have us there and were very accommodating. As with the last time we were there, we ran across an employee who was scarred of us. She didn't like the whole MASK thing. So of coarse we had to make sure we followed her and made sure we helped her get over that fear LOL
We even had a few of the FUTURE generation with us. Including Haley Jedi, TK118.5 and Mini Tie Pilot ! Too bad TK118.5 couldn't keep his helmet from hitting the ground SEVERAL TIMES!

Kids lined up for photos with us, Parents eyes got big seeing  Vader and the others.

We rode many of the rides, took tons of pictures and made many children smile,
